Hi, I update the ME using tool given by HP, then I realized that it took me a long long time ( according to a similar situation on Dell forum it took 30 minutes ) to shut down.

And I can't find ME interface anymore on System device in windows. I flashed bios and reinstalled the windows. Finally, I can confirm that it must be something wrong with updating the ME firmware.

I try to flash ME manually using FWUpdate, and it shows Error 8743, and no info can read by meinfo because of missing the hardware from the device list.

But it can boot correctly just a little slow.

Thus, Is there anyone would like to tell me that if any tookit from intel can help to totally reflash the ME?

I am looking for a link to intel(r) 200 series chipset family thermal subsystem -a2b1 as it seems to be the only possible solution to the KabyLake PCI Express Root Port #10 problem I have not yet tried. If someone could just make intel and msi find a solution to the problem of which there are many threads already it would save the customers a lot of trouble and time. I am encountering many bluescreens "memory management", critical process died", "page fault in nonpaged area"' among others.

I have tried reinstalling windows, checked all hardware to make sure everything is properly connected, as well as all solutions for the driver issue other than the one stated above.

I have a Dell Precision 7710 and the file, IntelPTTEkRecertification.exe, is freezing the computer lately (last month or so) randomly.  Windows just freezes.  Can't shut down, taskbar is frozen, Task Manager won't work.  The only resolution is a power button hold shut down.  The Event Viewer identifies that file as the culprit.  From the Reliability Monitor I get the following.  What do I do to resolve this?

Dear Intel support

We are a hardware manufacturer and recently ran into a problem that apparently lays within the "Intel® USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller Driver for Intel® 8/9/100 Series and Intel® C220/C610 Chipset Family" driver.

It happens even in the latest version 5.0.4.43.

Problem description:

When unplugging an USB device, the computer does not recognize this until after a delay ranging between 40 seconds and > 1 minute! So from the OS's perspective it seems the device is still available, which it actually isn't.

This can be seen in the windows device manager.

The problem occurs under the following conditions:

- Using Windows 7 SP1 x64

- Using a computer with an Intel® USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller that has both USB 2.0 and 3.0 ports (issue happens on both ports)- Unplugging a 3rd party USB hub that has two devices connected:

     A) a device with a private interface

     B) a composite device containing two USBCCID interfaces

- Unplugging either A) or B) separately does not trigger the delay. But unplugging the whole USB hub does. Unfortunately the USB hub and the two (sub)devices are all integrated into our device. So unplugging separately is not an option.

- The problem only occurs with (various) common 3rd party vendor hubs. It does not occur with an Intel hub.

We cannot see any chance to fix or workaround this issue from our side. It seems to be clearly Intel-related. We suspect this to be an issue with the driver.

We are hoping that you can help us. Any hints and help appreciated.

What version of the IRST driver is compatible with Windows 10?

I understand that the 15.x version is up-to-date and I know there is a compatibility issue.

I know that version 12.9 is stable and not compatible with Windows 10.

Which version should I use?

And what version of the ME firmware should I use?

I am aware that the latest version of ME firmware is 8.1.70.1590.(for 7-series chipset)

We need to connect 200 usb cameras to a computer and we are wondering how many available usb enpoinds the nuc family have.

We know that is very difficult (if not impossible) to connect 200 usb devices with long cables to a single computer so we are thinking of an array of nucs connected to the cameras and a laptop to controll them all.

If the number of available usb enpoints on the nuc is low, we could considerate to use mini itx computers with a pcie usb hub or even an array of laptops.

Can you help me with the hardware?

  Hi, I update the ME using tool given by HP, then I realized that it took me a long long time ( according to a similar situation on Dell forum it took 30 minutes ) to shut down.

And I can't find ME interface anymore on System device in windows. I flashed bios and reinstalled the windows. Finally, I can confirm that it must be something wrong with updating the ME firmware.

I try to flash ME manually using FWUpdate, and it shows Error 8743, and no info can read by meinfo because of missing the hardware from the device list.

But it can boot correctly just a little slow.

Thus, Is there anyone would like to tell me that if any tookit from intel can help to totally reflash the ME?

Isn’t correct that Intel SA-00086 Detection Tool gui/console only running on a Windows OS English language.

I found out that the tool is not running on a Windows OS Dutch language, change to English no problem

DSA wants to update Intel AVStream Camera 2500 with a new driver, details below. However, when the driver install process runs (tried twice), the install process advises the driver is not supported on the device. As a result faith in DSA to accurately advise of driver updates reduced and more annoyingly keeps advising there's an update which can't be installed. Thanks for listening.

Odd because this same system has been running Windows 10 Anniversary Update with no issues.
