Intel Rapid Storage Console software

Computer is an HP Compaq 8200 Elite CMT PC (Model XL508AV) that contains Bus Adapters Intel Desktop/Workstation/Server Express Chipset SATA RAID Controller along with Intel 6 Series/C200 Series Chipset Family USB Enhanced Host Controllers 1C26 and 1C2D.  System was upgraded from the original Win 7 OS to Win 10 and recently upgraded to the latest Win 10 Creators Edition 1703.

System was received from manufacturer with RAID1 installed on two Seagate 7000.120 hard disks (I am the original owner).  POST reports RAID1 as being DEGRADED.  System does not have the Intel Rapid Storage Console software installed.  I accessed your download website, but could not interpret which version of software is appropriate.

Would appreciate your advice on which version of the Intel Rapid Storage Console/Driver software would be applicable to the above described system to facilitate repair to the RAID system.

Thank you in advance.

Here is my re-post as Amy C. said "for us to further assist you and to help you with the specific problem, please create a new thread, make sure to add all the details in regard to your system. This way the next agent will have a better look at your specific scenario, you can add this thread as a reference but I recommend creating a new thread in order to isolate your case."

Per request, System Information: azulletech.com Byte Plus, Windows 10 Home, Intel CherryTrail T3 Z8300 Quad-Core, 1.44 GHz, 2GB memory

Problem: Audio randomly changes volume when watching videos. Computer is newly purchased this month and I went through all Windows 10 Home updates, which I believe included the creators update. Investigating issue, I found the following:

Device Manager shows: Intel SST audio device ACPI\808622A8\1 requires further installation, fould like this;

Usb3 XHCI driver for J4205 cpu and Win7

Hi all,

I'm trying to install a Win7 64bit build 7600 to an AsRock J4205-ITX (so a cpu J4205) and I don't succeed to install the USB3 XHCI driver.

Win7 was installed from a sata optical drive with PS2 keyboard and mouse in CSM mode (the only way to bypass the use of usb3 not managed by this old OS).

Win7 is working, but there's no driver installed for USB (it's normal as there's no XHCI USB driver in Win7)

The ID of the missing USB controller ressource is VEN_8086&DEV_5AA8

This board cannot be used/downgraded with a EHCI USB driver due to the recent CPU/chipset.

The UEFI/bios is a P1.20 version. I tried to contact AsRock for a solution with the USB issue, but no response for the moment.

In all cases, they don't have a XHCI USB driver for this board in their support section.

From what I read, the only solution is to use a generic XHCI driver from Intel, specially made for Win7.

I found this one: Intel(R)_USB_3.0_eXtensible_Host_Controller_Driver_5.0.3.42

But when I launched the setup, it was stated that "This computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing the software".

The installed OS is clean as it's just setup.

I found a log (c:\Intel\log\IntelUSB3.log) which seems to be the USB driver log (joined). From what I understand the DEV_5AA8 is not found....

Is this package (Driver_5.0.3.42) compatible with J4205 serie of processor ? if not, is there another package for it ?

From where the error "does not meet the minimum requirements" may come ? OS version ?

Does anybody succeeded to have a functional Win7 + USB ports on a J4205 board ?

Thanks a lot for your help

Intel(R) Serial IO I2C Host Controller for Windows 10 X86

Good Morning
I am having problems installing drivers for the following devices for Windows 10 32 bit:
"Intel (R) Serial IO I2C Host Controller - 9D60"
"Intel (R) Serial IO I2C Host Controller - 9D61"
"Intel (R) Serial IO I2C Host Controller - 9D62"

I wonder if there are null drivers for these devices for Windows 10 32bits which are for a Dell Latitude 7480.

I have already opened a support case in the hardware vendor Dell, so that they can help me in this situation.

Intel i7 Haswell & CrystalWell with Intel HM87 (ASUS G751 Notebooks) - Driver Issues Windows 10

Hi,

I've been working on a Custom OEM Recovery Project on the ASUS ROG Forums, but I've noticed that for the G751 - the final Model ASUS released the G751JY can have a 'i7 4710HQ Haswell' or a 'i7 4860HQ Crystalwell'.

The problem is this:

ROG G751JY | Link to Support Download Page

D/L URL: dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/nb/DriversForWin10/Chipset/Chipset_Intel_Skylake_Win10_64_VER10119.zip?_ga=2.91445586.933743925.1503663472-115729017.1503540811

The final supported driver release from ASUS for the G751JY contained a driver package named 'Chipset_Intel_Skylake_Win10_64_VER10119.zip'

This driver set, when extracted does not contain the relevant drivers for the CystalWell Processor.

SetupChipset.exe -Extract "drv.inf"

The only drivers the 4860HQ JY can use from that package are the LynxPointSystem drivers.

https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=intel%200d01

Using the Microsoft Update Catalog - the PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0D01&SUBSYS_22DA1043&REV_08 has one final possible driver to use 10.1.1.36

Link to ASUSTek Intel(R) 4th Gen Core processor PCI Express x16 Controller - 0d01 on Microsoft Update Catalog

Subsequent Windows Updates recognize that the chipset driverset 10.1.1.36 are out of date - and search for a new package. However - the only driver package that supercedes 10.1.1.36 and contains the PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0D01 hardware drivers are a Server Chipset driver 10.1.2.86 Intel® Server Chipset Driver for Windows Download Information Page .

This leads to the problem where Windows Update Catalog only has one vendor listed for the 10.1.2.86 driver set -   HON HAI PRECISION INDUSTRY CO.LTD

Microsoft Update Catalog www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=10.1.2.86%204th%20gen

Microsoft Update Catalog www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q= Intel(R) 4th Gen Core processor PCI Express x16 Controller - 0d01

Windows will try to update the Notebook using the 10.1.1.XX branch

As a result - during Windows Updates - the G751JY with the CrystalWell i7-4860HQ - ends up with;

     PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0C00Desc="Intel(R) Xeon(R) processor E3 - 1200 v3/4th Gen Core processor DRAM Controller - 0C00"

     PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0C01Desc="Intel(R) Xeon(R) processor E3 - 1200 v3/4th Gen Core processor PCI Express x16 Controller - 0C01"

     PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0C05Desc="Intel(R) Xeon(R) processor E3 - 1200 v3/4th Gen Core processor PCI Express x8 Controller - 0C05"

     PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0C09Desc="Intel(R) Xeon(R) processor E3 - 1200 v3/4th Gen Core processor PCI Express x4 Controller - 0C09"

when it should have;

     PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0d00Desc="Intel(R) 4th Gen Core processor DRAM Controller - 0D00"

     PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0d01Desc="Intel(R) 4th Gen Core processor PCI Express x16 Controller - 0D01"

     PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0d05Desc="Intel(R) 4th Gen Core processor PCI Express x8 Controller - 0D05"

     PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0d09Desc="Intel(R) 4th Gen Core processor PCI Express x4 Controller - 0D09"

This happened to me quite a while back - however it was only recently that I discovered the cause, while I was working on the Custom OEM Style Recovery Image for the G751.

I've included the mup.xml for the Chipset Driver packages from the Intel Download pages.

Thanks

Friends,

I owned Lenovo G5080 Laptop, which is compatible with 64bit OS. On 64bit OS USB 3.0 port is working fine.

But due to some Govt. works, I need to work on Windows 32bit OS, so I made it dual boot OS.

Now the problem is that on 32bit OS USB 3.0 is not working. I contacted at Lenovo support they taken my Lappy on remote and tried every method, but failed.

Anyone can help me to provide the USB 3.0 drivers for my Lappy.

1 out of 3 usb controller suddenly dissapears and appears as "unknown device"

so all my usb ports worked fine yesterday, and when i got on my computer today, 1 out of 3 of the usb ports just won't scan for anything. i know this because yesterday it was where i originally plugged in my mouse,  and when i got back to my pc, my mouse suddenly stopped working. so i checked the device manager under the universal serial bus controllers, and i only see 2 usb intel driver controllers, and 1 other device marked as "unknown device" with a yellow mark sign. i quckly assume that it is the third usb port and its not working. i tried reinstalling the chipset family, but it ended up the same, 2 usb intel driver controllers, and the unknown device. i tried to check if its broken or spilled by water, so i grabbed a data cable and my phone. to my surprise, its charging so i quickly assume its still working. i don't want to reset my pc because im afraid that i would sacrifise my data and to be greeted by the usb port with the same status. i tried a bunch of methods, ranging from simply restarting my pc to restoring my settings to previous times, even restoring the settings doesn't work, i restore it to yesterday, then a week ago, then a month ago.

what to do?

Unknown error when trying to update Intel chipset drivers to 10.1.2.86 version

I read somewhere in some forums that a possible solution to get rid of frequent BSOD reporting "whea uncorrectable error" in Windows 10 might be to update your intel chipset drivers to the latest version.

As the title mentions i downloaded the latest driver for my intel chipset using the utility from the official website (i also tried manually with same results), but when installation seems to be about to be done there is a message after reporting of an "unknown error". I will attach my log registry as i am not very expert about reading it. Hopefully someone will be able to tell me the reason of this error and a possible solution maybe. Thanks in advance to whoever will offer help

With windows-10 and Z77 Chipset which AHCI driver should I use?

On Windows10 I have 4 alternative AHCI drivers I could use, which is the best option:

1. I use microsoft AHCI driver, which work not correct with Hotplug

2. I use 13.1.0.1058 this is the latest with native Z77 support, but this uses APM which makes my hdd standby

3. I use 12.9.0.1001 this is the latest without APM

4. I use the latest 14.8.0.1042 8-series AHCI, which is running but not engineered for my Z77

And the question is still: Why does Intel not support a driver for my chipset which supports Windows-10? My computer is not as old for an upgrade!!!

Where can I download Intel Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework Drivers Version 8.2.11002.3418 or above?

Unknown error with chipset installation

I keep receiving an unknown error whenever I try to install the chipset version 10.1.1.14. It does send me to a log file but I have no idea what it means. I usually don't pay attention to this kind of stuff but I would like to know if this chipset would have any improvement with my graphic card if I were to actually successfully install it. I'm only looking into this to try and log back into a game I can no longer play so if chipsets have nothing to do with graphics cards I would like to know.

Matrix Storage Manager- Win 10 update - driver failed to load

Hi

I have just updated from windows 7 to 10 ( beginning to wish I had not)

My storage controller is Intel(R) Desktop/Workstation/Server Express Chipset SATA RAID Controller

My Processors are 2 x  Intel(R) Core(TM)2cpu 6300 @ 1.86GHz

My Disk Drives are indicated in Device Manager as Intel Raid 1 Volume

The Raid Volume has operated perfectly well as a Raid level 1 mirror until update

At Boot the Raid indicates status as Verify

When I try to start up the Intel Matrix Storage Manager Consul I get the error message-

'Raid plug-in failed to load because the driver is not installed correctly'

I have tried to update drivers via device manager to be advised driver is up to date

I have tried to update drivers automatically via the Intel Download Centre but this fails to detect any drivers

I have downloaded f6flpy-x86.zip from the Intel Download Centre but am not certain this is appropriate for the Matrix Storage controller

but if it is I do not know how to install it.

Please can some one advise me - how can I resolve?

Thank you

We need to identify the chipset as Intel C612 and not as C610 series in Windows10 device manager.

Please suggest the solutions.

Chipset c612 vs c610

Hello guys,

I have some troubles with above chipsets understanding...

Is c610 family or actual chipset, what is the difference betwen them?

Judging by the Intel site, c610 is family, containing only c612 chipset???

Also We use R730 servers, that have C610 chipsets, but only couple of Fujitsu's that have c612.

Can anyone explain me better the difference?

Intel RST installation incorrectly sets hard drive media type Windows 8.1 Pro x64

Hope someone can help me here.

After a fresh install of Windows 8.1 Pro my media type is correctly set under the analyse and optimise function. This is using the in box drivers of Windows 8.1. When I install the latest RST and update the RAID drivers, the media type changes to SSD which is incorrect. The analyse and optimise buttons are now greyed out and I can no longer defrag the hard drives.

I have taken many steps to try and correct this issue but still no luck. The BIOS is set to UEFI and it correctly identifies the HDD. I have also used the F6 driver installation of the latest RAID driver during the Windows install. Media type is still set to SSD.

Intel RST status correctly states that SATA HDD are connected. So is it a Windows problem?

Very frustrating. Any help would be appreciated.

Surely Im not the only person in the world with this problem.

Kind Regards

Why was ISH removed from INF?

I note on the readme for Chipset 10.1.1.42 that

Features Added in Build 10.1.1.34

ID Description

1 Removed Integrated Sensor Hub (ISH) devices for all platforms.

All very well unless you have a mobile chipset with an 8086:A135 "Intel(r) Integrated Sensor Solution" in it.

Why was it removed? Is it really that dangerous?

Windows 10 LTSB then goes out and without asking or telling anyone, downloads the mysterious 3.0.41.3260 driver that cannot be found on Intel's own site. Where can I find this driver on intel's own site? What magical name do I need to use to find this Gruffalo?

Likewise, the option do download older versions like 10.1.1.32 which does indeed have this listed, is absent.
