Heres a basic story:

 

I got a BSOD because apparently one of my drivers (Title) is out of date. People in Microsoft said that iaStorA.sys Intel Matrix Storage Manager driver is the problem, which is evident from the dmp. file.

I ran the Intel auto-update and downloaded of what I assume is the cure for cancer in my laptop. Instead of a cure, this pop-up appeared:

 

The driver being installed is not validated for this computer. Please obtain the appropriate driver from the computer manufacturer.

 

Setup will exit.

 

Any ideas on how to fix this?
