I had two disks in a raid 1 array on a 2010 era pc. The array hosted c d and e, including windows 7 pro. The pc died and I was able to boot a like kind pc using one of the raid disks. I uninstalled IRST on that stop gap pc.
Now I have built a new main workstation and only needed the e partition from the single disk that was part of a raid 1 set. I installed it and removed C and D partitions. It all works fine but IRST has an error message: "your system is reporting one or more events and data may be at risk". IRST management shows all of the disks in the pc except for the disk that was part of the raid array in the original pc.
How can I get rid of this error message?
Also, when I run acronis backup, the same hdd has a label "INTEL RAID VOLUME 1.0". The name is at some higher level than the partition name. How can I remove that? It must be a leftover from when the disk was part of a raid array.
