Hi,
i just added a new 2TB hard drive in my system (for storage) and it's of the Advanced Format kind.
Since both MS and my hard drive manufacturer strongly suggest to use the latest chipset drivers, could you please pinpoint me to the appropriate drivers?
I searched through the download centre and got all confused, but from what i saw i'm guessing my motherboard manufacturer mustn't have updated the driver's list on his own site since ages.
System Specs:
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate x64
Motherboard: DFI LP DK P45-T2RS Plus
Chipset : P45 and ICH10R
Boot&Data Drive : WDC WD6400AAKS SATA II (Not an AF drive) - connected to the ICH10R
Data Drive (new) : WDC WD20EZRX SATA III (AF drive , storage) - connected to the ICH10R
Data Drive (old) : WDC WD800BB IDE (Not AF obviously ) - connected to a Jmicron controller
There is no SSD,nor a RAID configuration present (and prolly there never will be).
The SATA Drives are set in AHCI in BIOS. They are both recognised properly as SCSI in BIOS and as SATA after POST.
The IDE Drive is set to Native IDE in BIOS.
The Drivers at my mobo's manufacturer site are these :
