CPU/Chipset PCIe MPS of 512 bytes or more

I am currently working a project that needs a good amount of PCIe throughput (with minimal overhead).

I am trying to look for a CPU/Chipset that can support a PCIe max payload size greater than 512B, but I can't find one?

I read that Intel limits it to 64B in case of desktop SKU and to 128B in case of server designs. Is that still the case?
