chipset driver downloaded not installed

I started out using the intel driver update utility and the scan results show:

(INF Update Utility -EXE ONLY for chipset installed= 8.15.10.2361 & latest= 10.0.27

& wireless showed Intel PROSet/Wireless Software and drivers 15.11.0.7 for installed & latest).

followed the prompts, even restarted, but every time I try again same result:

so what's the deal?
