There are no new H67 or Z68 boards available, but there are a few new H61 boards available, just not from Intel, of course (Newegg lists seven of them). These boards are relatively newly designed because USB 3.0 and PCI Express 3.0 x16 are usually included. I don't understand why board makers have not added a SATA III capability to these boards, but that's another story. Is Intel still manufacturing these chipsets or does it have a large supply of them lying around, with board makers simply satisfying the market for existing Sandy Bridge and Ivy Bridge CPUs? The Ark page for H61 does not specify end-of-life status, but then again neither do the pages up through and including Z68.
