Hello, I recently bought an Acer Aspire laptop, and it came with 4gb ram DDR3 and intel hd graphics 5500. I went to check the shared system memory being used by the 5500 hd graphics and that's what it shows...
In my understanding the chipset is using 2005 MB out of the total ram available. I would like to reduce it to something like 1024 MB as it's taking up too much ram when I'm running games , is there any way I can do that? I tried changing it using the BIOS, but there is nothing in there relating to graphics card.
