Hi, had a HDD fail under warranty. Replaced HDD with exact replacement from HP.
System has a 500GB HDD and 32GB mSATA for cache. Windows 8 Pro.
I have recovered my laptop (HP Spectre XT Touchsmart 15t-4000) to Factory Windows 8 Pro using theanHP provided recovery USB.
Everything has gone fine but I cannot accelerate my HDD with the SSD using IntelRapidStorageTechnology.
SSD is recognized and can be configured as a caching device but when trying to select my HDD to accelerate I get the following error no matter what I try:
"An unknown erroroccurred while an operation was in progress. The operation could not be completed."
Any ideas on how I can get this to work?
