NH82801BA I/O Chip

Hello,

What is the significance of a SL7UU (step code?) on an I/O controller chip?

I have a specific piece of ground equipment which contains an obsolete computer module containing an Intel I/O controller. The part number stamped on the pacakage is NH82801BA ending with SL7UU . IC has been damaged and needs replacing.  Does it have to be changed with the exact SL7UU code or any NH82801BA will do? I am familiar with replacing BGA's however the available datasheets do not reflect anything about the SL7UU numbering scheme? No luck with the OEM either.

Appreciate any information

Thank You
