I am getting an error when I try to activate the RST GUI on my system. I have four Blu-Ray DVD drives attached. If I remove the SATA connections to three of the drives the GUI will start fine. For normal operation I need to have all four Blu-Ray drives attached. The problem also impacts the ability of the RST drive monitor process to run. Which is my main concern. Without the RAID monitor running I will not be alerted if the the RAID set fails. The drives are in mirrored pair.
I know this same setup work with an earlier version of the RAID driver. The system comparison document shows a working version and a comparison of my system when it was at version 12.xxx.xxx.xxx of the RST utility. The results were the same with version 12.
I get the following two errors in the Windows Event Log. I am not sure if the XML or Friendly text is preferred so I have both embedded.
