mSATA SSD only gets recognized after resuming from sleep

Hi there, I have a very strange problem. I have a Dell E7440 with a 128GB SSD and a WWAN module. I replaced this WWAN module with another SSD (Crucial M500 120GB) so I can dualboot Ubuntu. The weird thing is, however, the second drive is recognized in the BIOS, it's recognized by the Intel RAID Utility (right after the BIOS) but in both Linux and Windows, the drive is recognized after resuming from sleep mode. Since the original SSD was an mSATA SSD with a mSATA to SATA converter I swapped them. Again, the same result.

It is hard to see if there are people with the same issues, because there are many people with issues with resuming from sleep, but in almost every case that's about drives disappearing after resuming from sleep. Does anyone here know if this is fixable?

It has an Intel 8 Series Chipset Family SATA AHCI Controller. (I put the SATA mode on AHCI, but AHCI or RAID didnt matter)
