max. frequency of 7 series chipset gpio

Hi community,

I want to use a GPIO pin from the 7 series chipset (in my case a HM76) to generate a pwm signal (1...10kHz, 20...99% duty cycle in 1% steps). Is it possible? If not - What is the maximum frequency that can be generated?

This seems to be an easy question, but I didn't find out something useful.
