Intel Rapid Storage Technology Rebuilds Wrong Volume when Drive Inserted

I am running Intel Rapid Storage Technology version 11.7.0.1013

 

I have the following arrays and volumes defined:

 

Array, name: SATA_Array_0000

    Volume, name: System, type: RAID 1

        Disk 1, present, size 1TB

        Disk 2, missing

 

Array, name: SATA_Array_0001

    Volume, name: Media, type: RAID 1

        Disk 1, present, size 2TB

        Disk 2, missing

 

When I insert the missing 2TB disk, Intel RST automatically assigns it to the System volume and starts rebuilding it.  I never have the opportunity to specify that it is the Media volume that is to be rebuild. 

 

I cannot remove the 2TB disk from the System volume (where it does NOT belong) and assign it to the Media volume (where it DOES belong).

 

Ugh....
