Intel Rapid Start is installed on a ThinkPad I have. RST uses a hibernation partition (HP) that is sized at a minimum the amount of RAM. Lenovo configured mine at 8GB. I installed 16B of better stuff when I got the device. Now I want to follow the Intel spec on partition size.
In Disk Management under Windows 7, that partition is static and there aren't any options for changing it. I can shrink C: by an additional 8GB, but it just goes to unallocated space and I can't see a way to add it to the HP.
I tried imaging the drive using Macrium, and went to restore the image and to monkey with the partition sizes there, but, like in Windows, that HB won't budge.
What's the trick?
