Intel RST 11.7 - No Acceleration Option Even With Spare SSD

Hi,

I'm trying to enable acceleration for my HD RAID10 array using a spare SSD but I'm having some trouble with getting the acceleration option to show up.

I've got a 120GB Kingston V300 SSD connected to the only available SATA port header driven by the Marvell Controller on my Asus P8P67 Deluxe motherboard.  I have two RAID arrays connected to the Intel RST controlled ports (see screenshot).

Things I've done:

1. Installed Intel RST 11.2 and 11.7 and the acceleration option is missing from both.
2. Formatted the spare SSD, it's available through a drive letter.
3. BIOS is set to RAID mode.

How can I enable SSD acceleration on my RAID10 HD array utilizing this spare SSD?

Can Intel RST make use of SSD's that are on the Marvell controller?satio
