Raid 5 volume is disabled on restart, after enabling acceleration

I recently upgraded my RAID 5 volume from 3 x 1TB to 3 x 2TB. Along the way, I decided to enable acceleration, with a 64GB partition of a spare SSD. I did this through the RST control program, under Win 10. Everything appears normal, with the control program showing status normal. When I restart the box, both the cache volume and the Raid volume are disabled in the Intel Raid ROM. This behavior happens, even if I change the accelerated disk to a non-Raid volume. I am able to recover the volume by disassociating the cache from the target disk, and on a restart, the volume is enabled. Any ideas? The system is an EVGA X58 SLI, with the ICH10R chip.
