Hi,
I've a setup where I have an SSD boot (non-RAID) and a RAID5 with 3 identical disks.
My problem is on a soft reboot (i.e. from within Windows: power/restart), my IRST controller fails to recognize my non raid ssd during initialization. If I do a hard power down and then power up, it works fine. This has been going on for years, but has become unbareable with the frequency of Win10 updates and the 3 reboots needed per update.
The IRST controller is embedded on my Asus Rampage Extreme IV motherboard. As far as I'm aware all firmware is up to date. I do not believe this is an OS issue, because the non-raid drive will not show in the IRST bios on reboot.
Any suggestions?
