Hi everybody, this thing has been happening to me for like 1 month now. All of a sudden the USB mouse started disconnecting (no cursor movement, no click working) forcing me to close every program and reboot the pc... After some time the problem intensified and I searched for it on the Internet. Some people said it might be something linked to power management of Windows that might stop the mouse from working to save energy so I looked for this option in the device management. There I found out that if the mouse stops I can go to Device Management > USB Controllers > Intel(R) 6 Series/C200 Series Chipset Family USB Enhanced Host Controller - 1C26 and restart the driver so that it works again. Therefore I tried looking for a new driver and came across Intel Driver Update Utility that actually updated the driver to version 10.1.1.14 but still the problem is persisting.
No matter which mouse I use, no matter which USB port I connect it to, it will disconnect randomly and reconnect after 1 second or just remain disconnected until I restart the driver or reboot the computer. I'm on Windows 7 64 bit, please help me.
