Windows 10 64 pro new install and computer build. Cdrom is unresponsive or just slow to respond. If I right click on the drive icon it takes 2 to 3 minutes for menu to come up. Insert a disk takes 2 to 3 minutes to show in file explorer. Imgburn can't find the drive. Once the drive is accessed strange things start to happen, programs won't close even from task manager. Restart results in computer hanging before bios screen have to hit reset to boot machine. I half assed fixed this by removing the cdrom from the Z177 sata port and plugging it in to the Asmedia sata port. Which to me rules out hardware problems. Any Ideas? Do I need the intel rst drivers I don't run raid, boot drive is pci express m2.
