Is there linux support for nvme fakeraids?

Hi i just bought a new laptop with 2 950 pro m.2's in it. They are pre-configured in raid 0 and work great in windows 10. However i had planned on dual booting. Linux seems to see the raid controller (00:17.0 RAID bus controller [0104]: Intel Corporation SATA Controller [RAID mode] [8086:2822] (rev 31)) an loads the ahci module for it and in turn it sees my secondary drive thats just a standard sata hard drive. Nowhere am i seeing any other block devices. I believe i read on z170 chipsets that the nvme as a raid goes though a type of sata remapping? If so I'm guessing this is where the issue might be. I've been posting around in a few spots and was hoping maybe i could get some insight here.
