Hi,
Can Intel provide USB 3.0 driver for Windows 10?
The reason why I am asking is because the USB 3.0 driver currently provided by Microsoft in Windows 10 has a bug. If I connect a "USB flash drive" to the USB 3.0 port of my laptop, the computer cannot enter sleep mode in Windows. (The power light will flash once then it will be waked up.) If I remove the USB flash drive, it can sleep properly. Since it is a flash driver not keyboard or mouse, there is no "Power Management" option that can be changed.
I have actually encountered this issue in both Windows 7 and Windows 10. In Windows 7, I was able to solve this problem by updating the USB 3.0 driver to the one provided by Intel. So I believe it is a bug of the driver provided by Microsoft. However, for Windows 10, I couldn't find the USB 3.0 driver from Intel.
My laptop is Toshiba R30-A. The Chipset is Intel(R) 8 Series/C220 Series.
Thanks,
Louis
