I've been trying to set my computer's hard drive to AHCI mode and have already gone through the hoops of changing the registry keys to allow for AHCI mode to be detected in order for the drivers to be installed upon launch.
My problem lies in the fact that my computer will not even go past the windows loading screen during boot after having set SATA from Intel SRT to AHCI mode.
I really need to do this without a clean reformat because I have tons of work on here that can't be transferred in a reasonable amount of time.
Therefore, a fix would be highly appreciated.
