I'm trying to reinstall rapid start software on my acer aspire S3 but it comes up with an error message, my laptop has ssd onboard and I have deleted the partitions could this be the problem

i have deleted the 2 partitions on the onboard ssd in my acer aspire S3 when fitting a new hd and now I'm having problems trying to install Intel rapid start software, the installer comes up with an error message ,the rapid start software was installed when I bought the laptop new,I think it must be to do with the inbuilt ssd. please help !
