I have the Supermicro X10DRI and have installed Windows Server 2012 R2 Hyper-V. During the boot sequence, I've configured the RAID, but need to configure the hot spare (which requires the RST). I'm not sure if the command line will allow me to do that, but I need to get the GUI working to configure the hot spare.
I've seen the existing posts and Utilities for managing IRST but they won't allow configuration of the RAID. Installation of any of the GUI versions fail (I've made sure .NET Framework 3.5 is installed)
Additionally, the command line interface RCfgSata.exe returns with:
This version of E:\Intel RSTe 4.1 GD Windows package\CLI\DOS\RCfgSata.exe is not compatible with the version of Windows you're running. Check your computer's system information and then contact the software publisher.
I'm lost with how to configure the RAID when booted into the OS. Any help would be appreciate!!!
