With the same controllerl I made a raid 0 with 2 SSD and performance is amazing. I made a raid 1 that works very well also with good speed. With a raid 5, speed is very slow ; it's a clue. Pool by window is only a little bit better but nothing as raid 0 or raid 1. There's no word to describe a such poor performance.
All my hard drives work well, performance is pretty good, but nothing to do with raid 5. Result is really awfull !!!! I tried with SSD, same poor result.
I need RAID 5 for security and speed purpose. But speed is not acceptable at all and I've no way to explain that poor result. For a few second, speed is fast but after, slow down and slow down and slow down...... It's unreal to me.
